Water Rights
The Town of Dove Creek water rights are as follows:

1.

Dolores River, through the Dove Creek supply line and

pump station for 0.39 cubic feet per second, appropria-

tion date of July 16, 1951 and adjudication date of June

11, 1968, and has river basin Number 129.

2.

Dolores River, through the Dove Creek supply line and

pump station for 0.69 cubic feet per second, conditional,

appropriation date of July 16, 1951 and adjudication date

of June 11, 1968. Of this decree, 0.31 cubic feet per

second was made absolute August 17, 1972, thereby leaving

0.38 cubic feet per second conditional.

The Montezuma Water Company water rights are as follows:

1.

Montezuma Water Company has purchased 10 cubic feet per

second of Main Canal No. 1 and 2 with an adjudication

date of March 22, 1963 and appropriation date of December

31, 1885, which has a river basin priority Number 101,

from the Montezuma Valley Irrigation Company. As a
further consideration in the purchase agreement, Monte-

zuma Valley Irrigation Company agrees that in the event

such direct flow should be insufficient to insure Monte-

zuma Water Company the receipt of 10 cubic feet per

second of water for delivery to or at its point of
