The Company purchases

treated water from the Town of Dolores. The Company owns five

steel storage reservoirs distributed throughout the system, with a

total capacity of 750,000 gallons. The Montezuma Water Company has

five wells located in the Lost Canyon Creek near the Dolores River.

These wells are not currently being used as a source of water.

The Town of Dolores is currently using the Dolores River

as its source of raw water. The raw water is piped from the

river through a small sedimentation reservoir to a rapid sand

filter and chlorinator with a capacity of 1,100 gallons per minute.

Treated water is then pumped to and stored in a 330,000-gallon steel

storage reservoir. Dolores also has two wells located south of Town

which are presently not being used.

II - 2
