<br />I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Monthly and Annual Diversions <br />Monthly diversions were estimated based on the following assumptions: <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />1. Per capita use for overnight guests or permanent residents would <br />be approximately 70 to 80 gallons per capita per day with the <br />lower figure being used for motel guests and the upper figure <br />being used for single-family homes and condominiums. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />2. Per capita use for skiers was estimated at 10 gallons per skier <br /> <br /> <br />per day. Projected monthly skier attendance was estimated based <br /> <br /> <br />on historical attendance records adjusted for changing area charac- <br /> <br /> <br />teristics such as the installation of snowmaking equipment. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />3. Full occupancy was assumed for all single-family homes on a year- <br />round basis. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />4. Occupancy rates on other types of residential accommodations such <br /> <br /> <br />as motels, condominiums, apartments, and institutions was assumed <br /> <br /> <br />to be 75 percent for the months of December, January, February <br /> <br /> <br />and March; 50 percent for the months of April, June, July, August <br /> <br /> <br />and November; and 25 percent for the months of May, September and <br /> <br /> <br />October. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />5. Commercial use was estimated to be 0.5 gallons per square foot <br />per day and was adjusted to reflect seasonal conditions in the <br />same manor as in 4. above. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />6. An estimated irrigation allowance for the lower System of 7.5 <br />acre feet per month was included for the months of June, July <br />and August. A more complete description of the irrigation <br />allowances are included below. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />7.
