Anticipated neW return flm.rs, however, <br />would increase the runoff of the San Juan River by an average of 55,900 <br />acre-feet, making the net depletion of the Colorado River average <br />84,700 acre-feet annually. The Dolores River is essentially fully <br />depleted for irrigation in the late summer months. According to the <br />Upper COlorado Basin Compact of 1948. which sets forth the basis for <br />ultimate diversion of that portion of the Colorado River Compact of <br />1922, all stream depletion of the Dolores Project is attributable to the <br />Colorado portion of the Colorado River flow. <br /> <br />'. <br /> <br />'-' , <br /> <br />120 <br />
