.
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I

requirements. To do so requires that already inadequate
facilities be operated unattended.

The project proposes to replace the existing pressure

filters and wood stave raw water transmission line and replace

these with new facilities.

The project proposes to provide new backwash facilities and
chlorine contact time prior to first domestic user, there are
no present facilities ,for both of these functions.

Replace existing chemical feeders with new units.

Modify existing clarifier and pumping facilities.

Provide additional treated water storage facilities.
The report projects anticipated population growth within
the Town of Hayden due to recreational and enegry developments
expected to occur within the near future.

Based on present consumptive usage of water and projected
population growths, estimated water usage requirements and
water system facilities necessary to satisfy these needs,
within Federal and State Standards, were thence determined.

Since the rate at which growth actually occurs will
differ from that projected, the project facilities have beeri
phased to provide sufficient flexibility to allow for a feas-
ible fiscal program to be established to accomodate expansion
and growth.

These programs are set forth in the report.

T - 9
