Section 2. Lien. The corporation shall
have a first lien upon the outstanding stock
to Recure payment of any an{\ all assessments
vo,ted by the sto'ck'holders at. a regular or spe-
cial meeting. or levied hy the Board of Direct-
ors in accordanee with the provisions of Sec-
tion 1 of this article. and no transfer of stock
lrpon the books of the corporation shall be

Use of Water

Badl share of the capiut! stock of the cor-
poration shall entitle its holder of record on
t.he bmlks of the corporation to the use each
year of a pro rata s'hare of all the water car-
ded and oeposited in the water ways of the
corporation. The Board 01' Direct.ors shall pr/)-

Section 3. Sale. If any stockllo1der shall
tail to pay. witbin the tlme set by the Board
of Directors any a,.qse,;sment or assessments
which may be levied againflt his stock, the
l30ard of Directors may proceed to sell the
stock of said stockholder. ar so much thereof
as may be necessary. to. pay the amount af the
assessment 0.1' assessments_ All delinquent
assessments shall bear interest at the rate of
180/0 per annum from the date of delinquency
until paid. The hoard of directors have the right to shur
off water with non-payment of asses.ment.

Section 4. Notice of Sale_ Whenever the
Board of Directo.rs shall order the sale of stock
for delinquent assessments, It shall be the duty
of the secretary of the corporation to. notify
tJhe owner of said stock in writing, by register-
ed mail, and by advertising the sale of. said
stock in a newspaper published in Delta c.o.un-
ty. said notice and saW advertisement to. state
the total amount due on said stock anil the
date and hour of said sale, whicb shall no.t be
less than thirty (30) days fro.m the date that
the notice to sUe'h' stackholder is deposited in
the post office.
