My comments on
these letters are as follows:

1.

The letter addressed to me is requesting approximately 15%
of the basic engineering fee. When Jackie Malcomb carne
down two weeks ago, she showed me the work done on the
plans to date; and I would etllowthe J.5% completion being
being asked for. I will approve this requGst for $29,607.

In regard to the letter to you which requested $179,824.42
in reimbursement or credit on this project, please be
advised that I told J. Malcomb we would not reimburse the
entity for any past expenditures but that we would consider
some credit. The credit to which I believe the entity is
entitled is $22,855.75 on tbe Bruns' cost analysis report,
$107,971.00 for the spillway R/W acquisition; $2,370.00 for
legal fees; and $200.00 for plan filing fee with the SEa;
for a total of $133,396.75.

2.

.
,

I feel that the CWCB could pay current and future project costs
in full until we reached the $133,396.75 amount; and then we
- bare rpm~in;ng pxpp~~P~ with the entity--

FA: tam
