I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I The only street maintenance provided by the District is for landscaping installed along the road rights-of-way, and for District installed signs. All street extensions and modifications shall be the responsibility of the developer(s) and shall be owned and maintained by Douglas County, except as approved by both Douglas County and the District. 7. Storm Drainal!e System The District is responsible for designing, installing and maintaining the storm drainage system in the development. This system comprises swales, channels, culverts and detention ponds that carry and/or store water and runoff through and out of the community to preserve construction integrity and control erosion processes. All future drainage improvements and modifications shall be designed and installed by the developer(s). Such drainage facilities shall be owned and maintained by Douglas County except as mutually agreed, in advance, by the District and Douglas County. All road and drainage facilities shall be owned by Douglas County. 8. Parks and Recreation System The District is responsible for providing park/recreation facilities for Castle Pines North residences. The District may undertake to construct certain recreation and landscape facilities as it deems appropriate. The District shall not, however, be required to provide any such facilities unless, in its sole discretion, it determines that growth, financial ability and the best interest of the District so dictates.
