I

I

I

results in extensive avalibility and use of the storage in Reservoir
No. IS to the Stockholders in The North Poudre Irrigation Company.

I

The location of Reservoir No. 15 within The North Poudre Irrigation
Company System and relative to the entire Poudre River System make
it extremely valuable for storage. Reservoir No. 15 is an "off
stream" structure. The North Poudre Irrgation Company transfers
water out of hJO of their own "on stream" higher reservoirs, Hall-
igan and Park Creek, into Reservoir No. 15 to allow for this addi-
tional capacity at the "on stream" reserV01rs to be available for
storage in the spring runoff.

I

I

I

I

A review of the records of the District Engineer's Office 1n Greeley
and The North Poudre Irrigation Companys Records indicate that Res-
ervoir No. IS has been either filled to or within 0.7 feet of allow-
able maximum capacity within 14 of the last IS years. The one year
of which it wasn't filled, storage was to 37.2 feet gage height or
approximately 75% of maximum capacity in acre-feet.

I

I

I

I

I

I

I
I
I

I
I

9

--~
