These are relatively small and scattered, however, and most of the <br />runoff Is from timberland, pasture land, and farm land. Some slit load Is <br />expected, as for any plains reservoir, but Is not expected to be severe. This Is <br />discussed further In Chapter V. <br /> <br />The prospect of using the water for municipal potable water Is somewhat less <br />appealing due to the expected turbidity and slit load as Is typical of water from <br />the plains reservoirs.
