The project will have a positive economic impact providing irrigation water for 1,829 acres of shareholders' crops. Loss ofrevenue if irrigation is lost is estimated at $435 per acre for a total loss of $795,156 per year from the 1,829 irrigated acres. The project will have no significant physical impacts. PERMITTING The Company does not own the land which contains the saddle dam and arrangements will have to be made with Mr. and Mrs. Mike Guttersen who own the property and who are also stockholders in the Company. The Company owns the property in the area of the main dam and we do not anticipate problems with right-of-way for the work on the main dam and spillway. The company and the Engineer believe no Environmental Assessment (EA) or Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) will be required. The Corps of Engineers will be contacted concerning 404 permitting but anticipate the work faIling under the Nation Wide Permits which will not require formal permitting.
