The cost of this alternative is estimated at approximately $ 232,000, <br /> <br />Work included in Alternative 1 is as follows: <br /> <br />1. Breach the dam embankment and remove existing outlet works. <br />2. Replace existing outlet with concrete pipe bedded on concrete. Control structures <br />includes intake structure with gate, gate tower with control gate, and energy <br />dissipation outlet structure. <br />3. Install toe drain at the dam embankment toe to intercept seepage. <br />4, Raise the saddle dam to match the height of the main dam. <br />5. Construct a spillway to pass the 50% PMP flood. Spillway will be an open channel <br />with a concrete control wall and riprap to protect against erosion. <br /> <br />WATER RIGHTS <br /> <br />The company's decreed water rights and appropriations on Woods Lake begin in 1892. The first <br />appropriation was Priority No. 30 with a date of December 22, 1892, for 120,000,000 cubic feet <br />of water. The second appropriation was the enlargement Priority No, 54 with a date of October <br />15, 1903 for 20,000,000 cubic feet of water. The total appropriation is 140,000, 000 cubic feet <br />which is 3214 acre-feet. <br /> <br />Appendix F contains a copy of the recorded decrees for Woods Lake. Appendix D contains a <br />copy of the reservoir storage chart. <br /> <br />COST ESTIMATE <br /> <br />The selected alternative is estimated to cost a total of approximately $232,000.
