There have been periods when frost has reached a depth <br /> <br />of six feet under a traveled roaclway. In all other areas, the frost <br /> <br />WOilJr! not penetl:'ate more than Ii -ve feet even in a severe and dry winter. <br /> <br />It is recommended that all lines in streets be buried siX and one-half <br /> <br />(~) to seven (7) feet and all other lines no less than five and <br />one-half (5~) feet. <br />
