D. DESCRIPTION OF TASKS/PARTICIPATION ROLES

1. In support of this cooperative agreement, the Bureau shall:

a. Provide data, reports, working papers, and maps from previously
published a.nd unpublished Bureau reports on the South Platte River
for the ~tate's use;

b. Assist the state in public hearings, seminars, and forums;

c. Review and approve the state's proposed perfonnance schedule:
and

d. Assist the state in the evaluation of ,proposed subcontractor(s):

2. In support of this cooperative agreement, the State shall:

a. Develop iI schedule for accomplishment of its participation in
this study. This schedule sllall be subject to the review and
approval of the Bureau;

b. Prepare statement(s) of \'Iork for subcontracted effort(s) for
review by the Bureau;

c. SOlicit,proposals froll1 potential subcontractors and award the
subcontracts;

d. Coordinate public involvement with the subcontractor(s);

e. Prepare monthly sUlmnaries of performilnce under the study for
submission to the Bureau; and

f. Prepare a draft final report, incorporate comments on the draft
made by the Bureau, and submit a final report.

3. In support of this coc;;erative agreement, the state al)d=Bureau', '.
shall collaborate to:

a~ Obtain South Platte River data and other relevant data from
other Federal agencies; and

b. Monitor and direct subcontractor proyress. Monthly progress
reports, a draft final report, and a final report shall be required
of the subcontractor(s).
