A summary of the estimated quantities and their associated <br />costs are shown in Table 6.1. The total construction cost is estimated to be <br />$387,000. <br /> <br />The Total Project Cost for the preliminary design is estimated from normal <br />project cost items listed below: <br /> <br />1. Construction <br />2. Contingency Costs: 20% of Item 1 <br />3. Engineering and Construction Service Costs: 12% of Items 1 and 2 <br /> <br />A contingency of 20% of the estimated construction cost is included to cover <br />incidental and anticipated costs. Engineering costs include final engineering <br />design, surveying, soils testing, and normal construction services. No costs <br />have been included for the purchase of right-of-way, interest during construction, <br />or legal fees as these costs are expected to be very minimal.
