( <br />� <br />G`ontracting Officer. For the work schedulea and eatimatea after the initial <br />" quarter, submittal ahall be made to the Contracting Officer not less than 15 <br />days prior to the beginning of the quarter covered by such achedule. <br />Construction plana and specifications required for work to be performed in any <br />quarter shall, notwithstanding any other provision of this article, be submitted <br />to the Contracting Officer aufficiently in advance of the date scheduled for <br />start of construction to provide reasonable time for his review and to permit <br />reviaions as may be required by him, and be in sufficient detail to permit an <br />engineering analysis of structures and to clearly establish proposed standards <br />for construction thereof. The Contracting Officer shall be the sole �udge of <br />the adequacy of such plans and specifications and whether they are in accordance <br />with sound engineering practices. No cPnstruction contract shall be awarded or <br />construction initiated under force accoant by the District until plans and <br />specifications for such work have been �pproved by the Contracting Officer. The <br />Contracting Officer shall use diligence in processing plans and specifications <br />submitted by the District, and his approval, disapproval, or indlcated <br />modification thereof shall be transmitted to the District in writing. The <br />work schedule, including cost estimates and fund requirements, shall be <br />submitted by the District on such forms as the Contracting Officer may <br />designate for the purpose and contain such data and information as the <br />Contracting Officer may require. <br />REPORTS, DRAWINGS, AND INSPECTIONS <br />4.
