At one time there was a HTH chlorination hook-up in the <br />valve llOuse. The lines froze up and the system was disconnected <br />and ne'Ter reinstalled. <br /> <br />T~e upper collection system requires considerable work to <br />insure the spring flows as well as a reasonable quality and <br />quantity of surface flow. New tree growth has occurred over the <br />spring, sapping most of the flow.
