<br />,I <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />PHASE III - TASK 5: ESTIMATED COSTS <br /> <br />TASK DESCRIPTION: Prepare cost estimates for the project including O&M and <br />replacement costs, emergency operating fund, and final <br />retirement schedules; prepare a project schedule. <br /> <br />TASK OBJECTIVE: To ensure that capital, O&M, and replacement costs are <br />properly identified and that retirement schedules are <br />appropriate for repayment over the life of the project. <br /> <br />METHODOLOGY: <br /> <br />1. Unit cost data will be gathered from information available on file <br />with COM, the City, CYCB, and other available sources. <br /> <br />2. Quantities will be derived from appropriate project maps. <br /> <br />3. Contingencies will be developed jointly with the City and CYCB. <br /> <br />4. Allowances for future cost escalations will be discussed with the <br />City and CYCB. <br /> <br />5. A project schedule will be prepared in conjunction with the City <br />and CYCB. <br /> <br />6. Calculations pertaining to financing will take into account CYCB <br />and other loan terms and conditions such as: interest rates, <br />maturity period, and reserve conditions, etc. <br /> <br />DELlVERABLES: <br /> <br />1. A breakdown of estimated unit costs including backup information <br />developing the unit costs. <br /> <br />2. A complete cost tabulation showing quantities, unit cost, and <br />total cost for each type of work or material. <br /> <br />3. A summary of estimated project costs in a format to be supplied by <br />the CYCB. <br /> <br />10 <br />
