To define the average, maximum day, maximum hour, and the daily,
weekly, monthly, and annual water demands of the City.

2. To define water losses in the proposed water system from point of
diversion to point of delivery.

3. To provide a tabulation of water diversion requirements developed
by combining water demands and system losses.

4. To evaluate various sources of surface water and list effective
water rights.

5. To show the amounts of surface water available to the project.

6. To define the quality of the surface water supplies.

HETBODOLOGY:

CDM will work with City staff and incorporate pertinent
data from the Phase II study to evaluate the above water
supply/demands issues. System loss and water quality
data will be developed in conjunction with City staff.

DELIVERABLES:

1. An acre-foot tabulation of available water supply will be
presented for all sources of water owned by the City to meet the
Design Condition. These include: the Big Thompson River, the
Colorado Big Thompson Project, and the Windy Gap Project. (Since
either site is an off-stream reservoir, the fish and wildlife
benefits from controls on a particular waterway are non-existent,
they will neither be claimed nor evaluated.)

2. No ground water supplies will be evaluated for this portion of the
project.

5
