Also, two <br />(2) optional configurations for transmitting treated <br />water from a new plant at the Maitland Canyon site <br />will be evaluated. Planning level cost estimates and <br />facility configuration maps will be prepared for <br />these six options. <br /> <br />TASK OBJECTIVE: <br /> <br />To identify and evaluate the necessary facilities and <br />operating alternatives required to provide raw and <br />treated water into the City of Loveland's water <br />supply system from the alternate reservoir sites. <br /> <br />METHODOLOGY: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />For each <br />facHi ties <br />the City's <br /> <br />reservoir site identify two optional configurations of <br />required to transmit raw water at a maximum daily rate to <br />existing treatment plant at Chasteen Grove. <br /> <br />2. For the Maitland Canyon site, identify two optional configurations <br />of facilities required to transmit treated water to the City's <br />distribution system at a peak day rate from a new water plant <br />located at the Maitland Canyon site. <br /> <br />3. Prepare planning level cost e5timates for the 6 optional facilities <br />plans including (a) construction costs, (b) engineering costs, and <br />(c) annual operating and in-ho~se costs. <br /> <br />4. Identify qualitatively potential water quality impacts and benefits <br />associated with each optional configuration. <br /> <br />5. Prepare written discussion ano facility configuration maps for each <br />option to be incorporated into appropriate report sections. <br /> <br />TASK DELIVERABLES: <br /> <br />1. Facility configuration maps for each optional <br />facility. <br /> <br />2. Vritten narrative of each configuration option. <br /> <br />3. Planning level cost estimates for each option. <br /> <br />3-18 <br />
