PHASE II - TASK 5: EVALUATION OF

SINGLE-ELEIIENT ALTERNATIVES (con t . )

and CNHI will be reviewed to provide information
on the potential occurrence of threatened and
endangered species as well as other natural
features of particular concern to the state. The
CYCB instream flow filing system and Larimer
COG-Yeld County 208 Plan update will be
consulted. Similarly, CDOY wildlife data will be
obtained and applied to a preliminary analysis of
impacts as appropriate.

3. Potentially critical issues will be described as
they relate to the full range of project Plan
Element implementation; subsequently, each
Element will be evaluated with respect to the
identified issues.

An Issues Application Matrix will be developed and
included in the report. This matrix, an example of
which is shown in Table 3-1, would present potential
constraint ratings assigned to each Plan Element (or
level of implementation where appropriate) for the
four environmental issues described above. It is
anticipated that the ratings will be assigned as
follows:

TASK DELIVERABLES:

A narrative section of the report will be prepared
that includes a description of each of the
potentially critical environmental issues related to
the range of project Plan Elements. Issues germane
to each Plan Element will be specifically identified
in quantitative terms if appropriate. Potential
positive impacts which may be important to
formulating or evaluating Plan Elements will be
treated qualitatively as supported by existing data.
