Transmission capacity of the Dille Tunnel

2. Transmission capacity of the Charles Hansen Feeder Canal

3. Operation of CBT storage facilities relative to average yield from
Vindy Gap Project

TASK OBJECTIVE:

The objective of Task 2 is to determine the total
yield of Loveland's four (4) major water supply
sources for ~he Design Conditions subject to the
potential cons~raints identified above.

HETBODOLOGY:

1. CDM will meet with the City staff, NCVCD staff and personnel of the
U.S. Bureau of Reclamation (BUREC) to review and discuss available
data concerning conveyance capacities and operational constraints
for the Dille Tunnel and the Charles Hansen Feeder Canal. One
meeting is assumed for budgeting purposes.

2. CDM and City staff will also meet with NCVCD personnel to
determine:

a. the quantity of storage capacity in each CBT facility that may
be devoted to storage of Vindy Gap water.

b. the operational policy to be used by the NCVCD in allocating
CBr storage capacity to vindy Gap water.

3. Daily flow rates through the Dille Tunnel and Charles Hansen Canal
will be obtained for the period from 1977 through 1985. These flow
rates will be evaluated to determine the excess capacity that may
be available to deliver City-owned "ditch water" to the Green Ridge
Glade and Maitland Canyon reservoir sites.

3-3
