The work is estimated to require about 60 to 75 days and <br />should be complete by March 31, 1999, <br /> <br />Social, Economic, and Physical Impacts <br /> <br />Replacement of the check structure will have no significant social impacts, The project will have a <br />positive economic impact providing irrigation water for 7,280 acres of shareholders' crops valued at <br />$7,010,980 per year (1998 prices) compared to the construction cost of $149,000. <br /> <br />The replacement of the check structure will have no significant physical impacts once construction <br />is complete, The new structure is a replacement for, and will be located near, the previous <br />structure, The riprap stilling basin located downstream of the check will be the biggest physical <br />impact as there did not appear to be such protection below the previous check, <br /> <br />8 <br />
