Location: The point of diversion is a point on the west bank of Mesa <br />Creek whence the SE corner of Section 16, Township 11 South, Range 96 <br />West of the 6th P.M. bears S. 68000' E., 2,150 feet. This is also at the <br />point diversion for the Mesa Creek Ditch, <br /> <br />Ill. Source: Mesa Creek, tributary to Plateau Creek, tributary to the Colorado <br />River. <br /> <br />IV. Amount: 3.0 c.f.s., conditionaL <br /> <br />v. Appropriation date: June 9, 1988. <br /> <br />VI. Uses: Domestic, commercial, industrial, IrrIgation of 250 acres, <br />municipal, snowmaking, recreational, storage in the H. U. Robbins <br />Reservoir by direct flow or replacement, augmentation and exchange, <br /> <br />D. Mesa Creek Reservoir and Canal Company Shares. Applicants are the owners <br />of 33 shares of the capital stock of Mesa Creek Reservoir and Canal Company. <br />Applicants may acquire additional shares in the future, which will be included in <br />this decree as such shares are acquired, leased, or otherwise controiled, <br />Applicants' current ownership interests represent an undivided 3.50 percent in and <br />to the water rights and structures owned or controlled by the Mesa Creek <br />Reservoir and Canal Company as described below: <br /> <br />1. Mesa Creek Reservoir No. 1 a/k/a Sunset Reservoir, decreed July 22, <br />1912, in Civil Action No. 5812, in the District Court of the Seventh <br />Judicial District of the State of Colorado sitting in and for the County of <br />Mesa. The reservoir is situated in the NWI/4 NWl/4 of Section 35, and <br />the NE1/4 NEI/4 of Section 34, Township 11 South, Range 96 West of <br />the 6th P .M" and stores water from Mesa Creek and its branches, <br />tributary to the Colorado River. The decreed amount is 246,96 acre-feet, <br />with an appropriation date of August 20, 1893, for irrigation purposes. <br /> <br />11.
