The proposed dam structure has been located primarily to the upstream
side of the existing dam to minimize disturbance of existing wetlands downstream of the
existing dam structure. Necessary coordination with the Corps of Engineers will be
addressed as necessary once the wetlands area has been more specifically identified.

Since the Robbins Reservoir site was previously the location for the Robbins Reservoir
and no change of use except to expand the reservoir is to occur, the project will have no
significant additional physical impacts once construction is complete. Further, it is
assumed that no environmental assessment or environmental impact statement will be
required. However, special care will be required of the Contractor during the construction
process and restoration of disturbed areas will be a part ofthe project to minimize damage
to existing vegetation and to restore and revegetate those areas where construction or
damage has occurred.

A schedule for implementation of the project is anticipated as follows:

Task Description

Projected Date

Completion of Design & Contract Documents

July 1, 1997

Review & Approval of Design and Contract Documents
by State Engineer and Water Conservation Board

August 1, 1997

Take Construction Bids & Award Project

September 1, 1997

Begin Construction

September 15, 1997

Construction Shutdown Period Depending on Weather
Conditions

October 15, 1997 to
June 1, 1998

Complete Construction & Make Proj ect Operational

September 1, 1998

15
