Water R:i.ghts Summit has direct flow diversion rights from Lost Canyon Creek on t~o ditches, Turkey Creek and Lost Canyon Ditches, which total about 260 cfs. There are also storage rights at three reservoirs; Joe Moore, Summit, and Puett that total 7066 AF. The three reservoirs, . however , have a combined capacity of 7389 AF which means Summit should file tor additional storage rights. Additional storage rights should not pose a major problem, because there is sufficient diversion rights already in 'place and no additional water will be diverted. There are no records which can be utilized to estimate the amount of. water diverted to ~he 500 acres but there is .for the, 3500 acres. 'In the Summit Reservoir Operation, Table IV-A, the column titled "Outflow - Outlet" is the volume. of water provided to the 3500 acres. It was assumed that all.of ~he grain land was served by Summit Reservoir because the area between the reservoirs is too high in elevation to produce grain. Therefore, Summit Reservoir provides water to 1200 acres of grain with a 2.01 AF/ac water requirement and 2300 acres of pasture/hayland with a 3.19 AF/ac -16-
