RESOLUTION

MiEREAS, the City of Florence has the powers granted by

Article XIV, Section 18(2) (al and (2) (b) of the Colorado Con-

stitution and the provisions of Part 2, Article 1 of Title 29 of

the Colorado Revised Statutes of 1973, as amended; and

WHEREAS, the City ot Fforence has and may exercise the powers

granted to it by the State of Colorado to provide water service to

the residents of its service area: and

WHEREAS, the City of Florence has determined that it is in

its best interests to participate in the construction and operation

of a water collection, storage, treatment and distribution system

to serve the Towmof Coal Creek and Williamsburg and the City of

Florence,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows:

1) That the City of Florence shall execute the Agreement attached

hereto as Exhibit "A", and

2)

That the

and empowered to execute such Agreement on behalf of the City of
