ANALYSES AM> RESULTS
A. GeueraI

The general PIllp05eS of this report are to:

1. Determine the adequacy of each Member's existing water supply
to satiSfy each Member's Mute water requirements (a direct flow
analysis which does not involve raw water storage in Oak Creek
Reservoir);

2. Determine tlle number of shares of Union Ditch, or Fremont
County Ditch, or a mixture of the two ditches, which would be
necessary to satisfy each Member's future water requirements
(again, a direct flow analysis);

3. Determine the adequacy oI all of the ReiioJ1al System's willer'
riahts to satisfy ill of the Regional System's future water
n:quircmen!ll in COJ\iunclion with raw water storage in Oak Creek
Reservoir; and

4. Determine the number of shares of Union Ditch or Fremont '
County Ditch, or a mixture of the two ditches, which would be
necessary, together with ill. of the Regional System's exisling
lights, to satisfy Bl1 of the Regional System's water requirements,
in conjunction with raw water stoage in Oak Creek Re.smvoi1.

B. Adequacy of Each Member's Water Supply for Its Future 'Water
RequiPnl"ntli (Direct Flow Basis)

On a dlIect flow basis only, i.e., without consideration of any raw water
storllge in Oak Creek Reservoir, a comparison is made on a daily basis
durini the historicall97l-I994 period of each Member'! existing water
supply with each Member's future water requirements. This analysis
determines the particular future year when each Member's existing
supply would no longer be adequate for that Member's future water
requirement. Discussions of Ihese analyses follow for each Member of
the Regional System, Table 3 summarizes the future years through
which each Member's water supply is deemed adequate.

8
