Water Rights: The Project will allow for the diversion of water from East Elk Creek in the amount equal to the Town's current water rights plus those being transferred to the Town by the developer of Castle Valley Ranch as part of an augmentation plan prepared with the development of Castle Valley Ranch. 2. Preliminary Design and Layout is shown in general on Map 2 of Appendix B. 3. The narrative description of the project is as follows: The project is a pipeline, 16 inches in diameter, 3835 feet in length, and having a capacity of 1200 gpm The pipeline starts at the headworks of the pre-sedimentation pond ~ar the point of diversion on East Elk Creek. The pipeline will follow its existing alignment from the pre-sedimentation pond to the water treatment plant. In addition to the raw water pipeline, the pre-sedimentaion pond will be upgraded to accommodated proper pre-treatment for 1200 gpm :flows. Upgrades include replacement of the headworks to the raw water line. 5.
