Description of the Selected Project: <br /> <br />1. Water Rights: The Project will allow for the diversion of water from East Elk Creek in <br />the amount equal to the Town's current water rights plus those being transferred to the <br />Town by the developer of Castle Valley Ranch as part of an augmentation plan prepared <br />with the development of Castle Valley Ranch. <br /> <br />2. Preliminary Design and Layout is shown in general on Map 2 of Appendix B. <br /> <br />3. The narrative description of the project is as follows: The project is a pipeline, 16 <br />inches in diameter, 3835 feet in length, and having a capacity of 1200 gpm The pipeline <br />starts at the headworks of the pre-sedimentation pond ~ar the point of diversion on East <br />Elk Creek. The pipeline will follow its existing alignment from the pre-sedimentation <br />pond to the water treatment plant. In addition to the raw water pipeline, the <br />pre-sedimentaion pond will be upgraded to accommodated proper pre-treatment for 1200 <br />gpm :flows. Upgrades include replacement of the headworks to the raw water line. <br /> <br />5.
