Impacts and Permitting

1. Social, Economic, and Physical Impacts:

The project will have no significant social impacts.

The project will have a positive economic impact associated with assuring a supply of
water for the Town's residents and businesses. Normal population growth can be
accommodated, and this growth will provide additional tax base for the Town.

The project will have no significant physical impacts, once construction is complete.
Other than the several low impact valve vaults and air relief vents, the entire project will
be buried and will not be visible.

2. Permits Required: None required.

3. No EA or EIS will be required. There are no wetlands along the pipeline route, and
the pipeline will be on an existing easement, county road right of way, or on private land.

4. An easement will be required in an area ofre-alignment where the pipeline will be
relocated down a street to avoid potential conflict with encroaching residential
development in the current easment.
