Team Leader <br /> <br />Dr. Gary Brierley is a civil engineer with more than 20 years of experience in the design and <br />construction of tunnels. Specifically, Dr, Brierley has participated in the planning, layout, design, <br />cost estimating, and construction management of more than 50 different tunneling projects in many <br />different types of ground and for many different purposes including water supply, waste water <br />removal, irrigation, drainage, and miscellaneous applications. Dr. Brierley will personally oversee <br />and direct BLI's work on the Plateau Creek pipeline study, <br /> <br />Behzad Mirzavi. P.E. . PiDeline Alternative. Team Leader <br /> <br />Mr. Behzad Mirzayi will act as the project engineer in charge of pipeline engineering evaluation <br />aspects of this project. Mr. Mirzayi has over 10 years experience in civil and geotechnical <br />engineering and has recent experience in routing, engineering, and environmental evaluation of <br />pipeline projects for major water delivery systems and/or water and waste water treatment facilities. <br />He has recently complete several main water delivery system engineering evaluation for Denver <br />water Board and a major utility system upgrade for the Rocky Flats Facility, Mr. Mirzayi also has <br />extensive experience with Colorado Department of Highways. He acted as project manager for site <br />investigation and foundation design for more than 50 bridges in Colorado. A list of some of the <br />relevant past projects is included below: <br /> <br />. Conduit No. 99, 2 miles of 12-inch treated water main pipeline routed through city of <br />Denver streets; <br /> <br />. Cottonwood Drainage System, 2.5 miles of drainage pipe network for Cottonwood 10 <br />subdivision; <br /> <br />. Highlands Ranch Water Treatment Facility, design evaluation and construction management <br />of pipelines, water treatment structures, holding ponds, impoundment embankments and <br />roadways; <br /> <br />. Lone Tree Waste Water Treatment Facility, design evaluation of pipe lines, waste water <br />treatment structures, rapid infiltration basins, groundwater evaluation, and groundwater <br />quality determination; <br /> <br />. Metro 1, Sewage Pipeline, engineering evaluation of approximately 5 miles of 24.inch <br />sewage pipeline from Denver Airport to Metro 1 Facility; and <br /> <br />7 <br />
