<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Product: Monitor transects. <br /> <br />Units & Costs:(Based on Agro Engineering Inc.) 30 transects or 1 transect/1400 ft.for 8 <br />miles. 5 hours/site or 150 hours/year @$60.00/hr; $9,000. OO/yr. <br />Total 3 years: $27,000.00. <br /> <br />TOTAL: $27,000.00. FUNDING SOURCE: $6,800.00 (CWCB), $17,000.00 in-kind <br />(ARWRP) and $3,200.00(319). <br /> <br />TASK 3. Monitor the bank erosion on the restored and unrestored sites to evaluate the <br />effectiveness of erosion control strategies. <br /> <br />This involves: <br />3.1). Setting up approximately 1 cross sectional profile per 1000 ft. or 5 per mile, total of <br />27 cross sections. (These stations will be installed at the time of the field survey for the <br />Design Plan). Selected cross sections will be re-surveyed after construction and then once <br />a year, after runoff. <br /> <br />3.2). A longitudinal profile will be conducted during the initial survey then one after <br />construction. Follow up longitudinal surveys will be conducted every other year. <br /> <br />Product: Monitor Bank Erosion. Approximately 7 miles. <br />Units & Cost: (Based on Wildland Hydrology). <br />27 cross sections @ one hour/site in-jield plus 1 hour/site data manipulation. 54 hours @ <br />$50.00/hr; $2,700.00.; Totalfor 3 years: $8,100.00. <br />Lonvitudinal vrofile (approx.5 miles) at 120 hours/survey @ $100.00/hr (two persons); <br />$12,000.00. Plus 64 hours @ $50.00/hr data manipulation; $3,200.00. Total <br />cost/long profile; $15,200.00. Total cost for two long profile surveys; $30,400.00. <br /> <br />TOTAL COST: $38,500.00. FUNDING SOURCE: $12,840.00 (CWCB), $22,660.00 in- <br />kind (ARWRP) and $3,000.00 (319) <br /> <br />TASK 4. Establish and monitor water table changes in selected house wells. This will be done <br />seasonally, four times a year. <br /> <br />This involves; <br />4.1) Identify 20 house wells which are hydrologically connected to the stream. Fifteen wells <br />will be in the project area and 5 will be outside the project area. The wells will be checked <br />seasonally or 4 times a year. <br />Product: Water table monitoring. <br />Units & Cost: 20 wells at 1.5 hours/ well with 1 person at $20.00/ hr.
