The project will furnish fencing material with the understanding that the <br />participant will install it. The fence will become a permanent feature which will be maintained for <br />a minimum period of 10 years. <br /> <br />Product: Fencing. <br />Unit Cost; 11 miles offence @ $1.25/ft.(labor, material, and 10 year maintenance). <br /> <br />TOTAL COST: $70,000.00. FUNDING SOURCE: $20,000.00 in-kind (LAA), $50,000.00 <br />in-kind (NAWCA). <br /> <br />GOAL 5: MONITORING <br />All material pertaining to the restoration effort will be collected and entered into a data <br />base by the ARWRP coordinator, government agencies, and private vendors. Monitoring <br />will be implemented on the restoration sites before, during, and after treatment. <br />This will include utilization of GIS software to track restoration progress. In-field surveys will <br />be conducted by qualified personnel to monitor bank erosion, the water table, vegetation <br />recovery, and BMP's. <br /> <br />OBJECTIVE 1: Begin Data Base. Begin data base from existing data which includes maps, <br />stream and riparian evaluations/ inventories. Portions of this objective will be conducted prior and <br />simultaneously with the in-field survey described in section Goal 3, Objective 1, Tasks 1-5. <br /> <br />TASK 1: Collection of data material pertaining to the condition of the stream and the riparian area <br />which has already been completed. <br /> <br />This material includes: <br /> <br />Page -15- <br />
