There are projected to be 393 active wells and

50 inactive wells within AGUA in 1998. A $30 per well annual fee will generate revenues of $13,290

per year. Revenues of $66,345 from administrative fees and $15,257 from well test fees and

miscellaneous income along with the augmentation fee provide for a total revenue without water sales

of $94,892. Total annual expenses are projected to be $190,481 meaning that $95,589 of revenue

will be required from water sales to members. Based on projected water sales of 8,950 acre-feet, the

unit cost would need to be $10.68 per acre-foot. In 1997 AGUA charged $9.44 per acre-foot so the

increased cost in 1998 would be $1.24 per acre-foot.

A summary of the 1997 fee schedule and the proposed 1998 fee schedule to cover the purchase of
1,007 shares of Excelsior Ditch water by AGUA is shown below:

Item No. Item Description 1997 Fees Proposed 1998 Fees
1 Active Wells - Set-up Cost (new $lOO/well $100/weil
members only)
2 Active Wells - Administrative Fee $205/well $225/well
(1998 includes $30 per well loan fee)
3 Inactive Wells - Administrative Fee $50/well $60/well
(1998 includes $30 per well loan fee)
4 Well Test Fee $110/well basic test $110/well basic test
$135/well complex test $135/well complex test
5 Augmentation Water Fee $6.44/ac-ft of well $9.68/ac-ft of well
depletion depletion
6 Acquisition Reserve Fee $3.00/ac-ft of well $1.00/ac-ft of well
depletion depletion
7 Total Water Cost $9.44/ac-ft of well $1 0.68/ac-ft of well
depletion depletion
8 Supplemental Plan Fees $100/well joined after $100/well joined after
January 15, 1997 January 15
$200/well joined after $200/well joined after
February 15,1997 February 15

-45-
