Keesee Ditch <br /> <br />Mr. Jake Broyles has offered to sell a portion or all of the Keesee Ditch to AGUA. The Keesee Ditch is <br />located approximately five miles downstream of the John Martin Dam in Colorado Water District 67. <br />The Keesee Ditch shares a common diversion dam with the Fort Bent Canal in Section 1, Township 23 <br />South, Range 49 West of the 6th Principal Meridian of Bent County, Colorado. <br /> <br />All of AGUA's well depletions occur in the Arkansas River or its tributaries above John Martin <br /> <br /> <br />Reservoir. Use of the Keesee Ditch by AGUA WOLJld have to be via an exchange. Given the <br /> <br /> <br />uncertainty of available exchange potential through John Martin Reservoir and past the Fort Lyon <br /> <br /> <br />Canal headgate, the Keesee Ditch was not considered an acceptable water right purchase alternative <br /> <br /> <br />and was not considered any further in this investigation. <br /> <br />G.
