Station 14+70 to 15+07
Station 19+89 to 19+97

The work includes instailing the pipe, constructing temporary bulkheads, filling the annulus with cellular cement,
contact grouting between the pipe and cellular concrete, conventional void grouting approximately, including
hole drilling, approximately 5' above the existing support, and construction of shotcrete transitions and aprons.
The work will include approximateiy 200 yards' of cellular concrete, 220 yards' of conventional void grout, and
20 yards' of shotcrete.

This item shall be paid for on the following basis:

A. 5.3' Diameter Steel Pipe: Per lineal foot installed and accepted by the Engineer.

8. Cellular Grout in Annulus: Per cubic yard placed and accepted by the Engineer.

C. Conventional Void Grout:

Per hook-up which shall be defined as making all connections to pumps and grout
mixers required to inject grout under a specified pressure into a particular grout hole
approved by the Engineer.

Per sack of cement injected into grout holes accepted by the Engineer.

'1
il
i]
,

D.

Shotcrete Transitions and Aprons: Per cubic yard placed and occepted by the Engineer. This
item shall be measured per neat dimensions shown on the plans.

,.
,I
'I
:1

17. REPAIR CONCRETE LINED SECTiONS WITH SHOTCRETE AND GROUT

All equipment, labor, and materials to repair approximately 204 lineal feet of existing concrete liner with
shotcrete and grout. The concrete iiner occurs in five sections as follows:

,
:1
I
I
,I
,

I
'j
'I
i
;1
'I

Station 7 + 93 to 8 + 98 "
Station 14+ S1 to 14+ 70
Station 15+07 to 15+38
Station 16+18to 16+41
Station 17 + 06 to 17+ 32

The work includes placing approximately 56 yards' of shotcrete and approximately 168 yards' of conventional
cement void grouting extending 5'above the concrete crown.

This item shall be paid for on the following basis:

A. Per cubic yard of shotcrete placed and accepted by the Engineer. This item will be measured by
taking the area covered multiplied by the 3" neat design thickness.

B. Conventional Void Grouting:

"

q

Per hook.up, which shall be defined as making ail connections to pumps and grout
mixers required and drilling of any holes required to inject grout under a specified
pressure into a particular grout hole approved by the Engineer.

"

Per sack of cement injected into grout holes and accepted by the Engineer.

Section 01025 .
