7. STEEL PIPE LINER

All equipment, labor, and materials to install approximately 244 lineal feet of 5.3' internal diameter steel pipe
final liner. The pipe will be installed in 5 tunnel sedions as identified below:

Station 23+97 to 24+03
Station 32 + 12 to 33 + 58
Station 38 + 16 to 38 + 25
Station 38 + 45 to 38 + 58
Station 52 + 73 to 53 + 33

Square Timber
Square Timber
Square Timber
Square Timber
Steel Set Canopy

The work includes installing the pipe, control of water, constructing temporary bulkheads, filling the annuius
with cellular concrete, contact grouting between the pipe and cellular concrete, conventional void grouting
approximately 5' above the existing support (square timber and steel ribs) including required hole drilling, and
construction of shotcrete transitions and aprons. The work will include approximately 210 yards' of cellular
concrete, 200 yards' of conventional grout, and 20 yards' of shotcrete.

This item shall be paid for on the following basis:

A. 5.3' Diameter Steel Pipe: Per lineal foot installed and accepted by the Engineer.

B. Cellular Concrete in Annulus: Per cubic yard placed and accepted by the Engineer.

C. Conventional Void Grouting:

Per hook.up, which shall be defined as making all connections to pumps and grout
mixers required and for drilling of all holes required in order to inject grout under a
specified pressure into a particular grout hole approved by the Engineer.

Per sack of cement injected into grout holes and accepted by the Engineer.

D. Shotcrete Transitions and Aprons: Per cubic yard placed and accepted by the Engineer. This
item shall be measured per neat dimensions shown on plans. '

8. SHOTCRETE AND ROCK BOLTS

All equipment, labor, and materials to install approximately 255 lineal feet of pattern rock bolts and placing a 3"
nominal layer of shotcrete from approximately spring line to spring line in various areas between Stations 20+00
and 52+ n. The work includes installing approximately 210.6' long rock bolts with associated nuts, bearing
plates, 80 mine straps, and placing approximately 60 yards' of shotcrete.

This item shall be paid for on the following basis:

A. Rock Bolts and All Accessories: Per rock bolt installed and accepted by the Engineer.

B. Mine Straps: \ler mine strap installed and accepted by the Engineer.

C. Shotcrete: Per cubic yard placed and accepted by the Engineer. This item will be measured by
taking the area covered multiplied by the 3" neat design thickness.

Section 01025 - Page 3 of 7
