Director, CweB Mr. Frank Eckhardt Jr, President Farmers Independent Ditch Company 21454 CR 33 La Salle, CO 80645-7905 RE: Reconstruction of a Portion of the Ditch Loan Approval Dear Mr. Eckhardt, Concerning your application for a loan from the Construction Fund, I am pleased to inform you the Colorado Water Conservation Board (CWCB)has approved your request for $55,000 from the Small Project Loan Account. It is our understanding these funds will be used to reconstruct a portion of the Farmers Independent Ditch, The CWCB approved a loan term of 30 years at an interest rate of 3.75%. I have attached a copy of the updated Board memo concerning the Farmers Independent Ditch Company. Please refer to page 3 of that memo and to the section "Action Taken by the CWCB, March 20, 1997". The Board has approved the loan subject to several conditions: a. The Farmers Independent Ditch Shareholders must pass a formal resolution. The resolution is required before we can complete the loan contract. A copy of the resolution has been sent to you by Jan IIIian (303-866-3441). Please contact Jan if you have any questions on this matter. b. You must adhere to the CWCB Guidelines for Financial Assistance. A copy of our Guidelines is attached. c. A Feasibilitv Study must be completed. The study will be drafted by John Van Sciver (303-866-3441) of this office. John will complete the study, with your assistance, so that the content of the report is in compliance with the Guidelines and statutory requirements.
