<br />Morrison. The line will continue in Red <br />Rocks Vista Drive and Red Rocks Vista Lane <br />to the elevated storage tank. A new 6-inch <br />line will run from the a-inch line at the <br />intersection of Red Rocks Vista Drive and <br />Lake to connect with the existing 6-inch <br />water line approximately 450 feet east in <br />Red Rocks Vista Drive. <br /> <br />In summary, the pipeline would be: <br /> <br />(1) 940+ L.F. 10" D.I.P. <br />(2) 1385+ L.F. 8" D.I.P. <br />(3) 480+-L.F. 6" D.I.P. <br />(4) 20+-3/4" services <br /> <br />!/ <br /> <br />b. <br /> <br />Water Meters <br /> <br />Water meters will be installed for every <br />individual service in town. <br /> <br />c. Existing Clear Water ,Storage Facilities <br /> <br />The town's two steel water storage tanks will <br />be deeded to the State, as follows: <br /> <br />(1) 250,000 Gal. tank near water treat- <br />ment plant. <br />(2) 110,000 gallon tank elevated storage <br />tank. <br /> <br />d. Raw Water Transmission Line from Raw Water <br />Reservoir to Wa-t'er Tr-eatment Plant <br /> <br />This line will be converted from a portion of <br />the existing 6-inch and 4-inch water pipeline <br />running from the treatment plant to the <br />elevated storage tank. New 6-inch connections <br />will be made on each end of the line. A pump <br />station will be constructed to pump raw water <br />from the reservoir to a point just upstream <br />of the water treatment plant. <br /> <br />In summary, these items would be: <br /> <br />(1) Pump station <br />(2) 290+ L.F. 6" D.I.P. <br />(3) H20+ L.F. existing 6" D.I.P. <br />(4) 800~-L.F. existing 4" D.I.P. <br /> <br />3. Permit periodic inspection of construction by <br />authorized representatives of the State during construction <br />and permit the State to review and approve or disapprove any <br />contracts for the construction of the project or the performance <br />of work pursuant to such contracts or subcontracts. <br /> <br />4. Without expense to the state, manage, operate, and <br />maintain the project system continuously in an efficient and <br />economical manner, and assume all legal responsibility for <br />such management, operation and maintenance. <br /> <br />5. Make the services of said project available within \ <br />its capacity to all persons in the contractor's service area <br />without discrimination as to race, color, religion or natural <br />origin at reasonable charges, including assessments, taxes <br />or fees in accordance with a schedule of such charges, <br />whether for one or more classes of service, formally adopted <br /> <br />Page 2 of 6 pages <br />
