WHEREAS, authority exists in the UW and funds have been budgeted, appropriated and otherwise made

\VIIEREAS. '] pursuant to the provisions of 37-60-119, C?lorado Revise.
Statutes 1973, as amended, the State is authorized to construct certa.
water projects for the benefit of the people of the State; and

WHEREAS, the Contractor is a town in the State of colorado and
wishes to undertake repairs of its municipal system, hereinafter
called the project, for the Morrison citizens in Jefferson County,
COloroJdo, at an estimated ~f Three Hundred Fifty Thousand
Dollars ($350,OOO); and

WIIEREAS, a feasibility investigation of said project was conducted
and it was found that such a project is economically feasible; and

WHEREAS, the State has agreed to COnstruct said project and to
sell the same to the Contractor upon mutually agreeable terms and
conditions, subject to the approval of appropriations for that
purpose by the Colorado General Assembly ~nd the Governor of the
SUite of Colorado; and

WI1EREAS, pursuant to Senate nill No, G7, Fifty-Second Gencrul
ADsolnbly of tile State of COlorado, duly enacted by the Colorado
Genoral Assembly ~nd approved by the Governor of the State of
Colorado, there was appropriated to the Colorado Water Conservation
Board the sum of Three Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($350,000)
for construction of the Morrison Municipal project;

NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual and dependent
covenants herein contained, it is agreed by the parties hereto
as follows:

A. Tho Contractor agrees that it will:
,

1. Cause the construction of said project to be completed within
two (2) years of the date of tHis COntract in accordance with the
project plans and specifications, and any necessary modification
thereof approved by the State. No payments will be made under this
contract until the project pla~-specifications are approved by
the State. The above. mentioned time may be extended by the State if
such time is insufficient because of acts of God or other acts or
circumstances beyond the control of the Contractor.

2. Convey'or cause title to be conveyed by deed or other proper
conveyance to the Colorado Water Conservation Board, Department of
Natural Resources, State of COlorado, the following portions of the
proposed project f~cilities: .\

A new lO-inch pipeline running roughly east from the
water treatment plant. Approximately 150 feet west
of the east edge of the Denver Mountain Parks property,
the pipe diameter will become 8~inches, A future 8-inch
transmissi"n line will run from ~his point to dOwntown
