Flows in the Muddy Creek tributary, which supplies water to Overland <br />Reservoir (Cow Creek) and in Terror Creek, were estimated based on their <br />similarity and proximity to Hubbard Creek. <br /> <br />Streamflow data in greater detail are given in the Hydrological Data, Appendix A. <br /> <br />Section 3: Water Supply: Return Flows <br /> <br />The supply of water available for use by irrigators consists of streamflows, which <br />were discussed in the preceding section, plus return flows. According to USBR <br />studies, the quanti ties of return flows which reenter stream channels within the <br />project area (and thus become available for application to crops a second time), as <br />well as the locations where return flows are available for reuse, may be estimated <br />as percentages of diversions.
