earthwork construction recommendations, remediation of liquefaction-susceptible
soils beneath existing and proposed structures, stability evaluation of daylighted
rock beds, remediation of collapsible soils, and evaluation of settlement of 30-foot
high fill.

· Project manager/engineer for alignment investigation and construction of the
Castaic Lateral N-l Turnout, a 5200-foot-Iong water supply line. Performed
geotechnical investigation and provided earthwork construction recommendations
and construction services.

· Project manager/engineer for investigation of several leaking underground fuel
tanks and broken fuel lines in Los Angeles, Ventura, and Santa Barbara counties,
California. Responsible for conducting site investigations, evaluating disposal
alternatives for contaminated soil and water, recovering free product, removing
underground tanks, conducting vapor extraction tests, and reporting to regulatory
agencies.

· Project engineer responsible for geotechnical investigations and foundation design
for rehabilitation of North Hollywood and Buena Vista pumping stations,
seismically deficient lifeline pumping stations in Los Angeles, California. Projects
included design of deep foundations (caissons and rock-socketed piers), rock
strength evaluations, and retaining wall design recommendations for retention of
high cut slopes in landslide ateas.

· Project engineer for. construction of Maclay Tanks, two 300-foot-diameter
prestressed concrete tanks embedded 17 feet below the surface in a seismically
active area. Performed initial feasibility study, conducted geotechnical
investigation, and provided earthwork construction, foundation, and lateral
dynamic earth pressure recommendations.

· Project engineer responsible for geotechnical investigation of soil and rock
conditions in collapsed tunnel heading for Stone Canyon Trunkline Tunnel, Los
Angeles. . Provided lateral earth pressure and bearing capacity recommendations
for tunnel supports and 25-foot-deep braced excavation. .
