The existing water supply and distribution system shall <br />be described and a history of the system shall be included. <br /> <br />3, Existing and Potential land Development: A service area map shall <br />be provided as outl ined in SectioQ 1 of the report, which shall <br />show the ,extent of existing development. An estimate will be made <br />of the potential development in the area. The effect of the pro- <br />ject on land development will be discussed. <br /> <br />4. Water Supply and Utilization: Design requirements for water <br />supply and distribution will be developed, including peak hourly, <br />daily, weekly and monthly uses, both fOl' existing development and <br />ultimate projection. Any points of water loss will be estimated <br />and included. At present, a single-source water supply from a <br />Denver lIIain 1S serving the area. The physical availabil ity of <br />this water source will be discussed. Other sources of water <br />supp.ly will be investigated and discussed. Projected \'Iater <br />requirelllents for various users will be tabulated for each year <br />throughout the project period, if such I'equi rements are expected <br />to change during that period. The physical and chemical qual it)' <br />of the existing water source and any other water sources will be <br />investigated and discussed. <br /> <br />5. Plan of Development: Project phasing will be discussed in this <br />section. Initial requ.irements of the water source implementation <br />strategy will be discussed. The desiqn criteria for both initial <br />and ultimate development will be establ ished for water supply <br />facilities. Construction techniques and easement acquisition <br />techniques will be discussed briefly. <br /> <br />6. Estimate of Costs: A summary will be made of the estilllated <br />construction and total project costs in the form of an itemized <br />breakdovm. The project capital requil'elllents will be discussed awl <br />an allol'lance made for projected price increases. Operation and <br />maintenance co'sts will also be itemized. <br /> <br />7. Project Evaluation: Alternate financing schedules shall be pre- <br />sented in this section to assist the CWCB in determining the <br />District's payment capacity. ^ comparison of the required service <br />rates and charges with neighboring entH ies \~ill be made. <br />
