The
CWCB Board also approved a loan term of 30 years at an interest rate of 3.5%. It is our
understanding that these funds will be used to rehabilitate the Brush Hollow Dam. I have
attached a copy, of my updated CWCB Board memo concerning Beaver Park Water
Company, Please Iefer to page 3 of that memo and to the section "Action Taken by the
CWCB Board".

The Construction portion of the your loan ($750,000) will be considered by the State
General Assembly as part of the 1994 Construction Fund Bill, with passage expected in June
1994. Funds will be available about 60 days after that date. The funds for the Feasibility
Study ($75,000) will be available once a formal contract between the Beaver Park Water Co.'
and the State has been finalized.

As part of the approval, the CWCB also required that the loan be contingent upon
evaluation of the company's financial condition and ability to pay. For this purpose I have
also attached a copy our "Agricultural Project Description" questionnaire for you to
complete and return to me by January 15, 1994.

On behalf of the CWCB Board, I would like to thank you for applying for a
Construction Fund Loan with from the Colorado Water Conservation Board.

Si cerely, \

[h-----

" ./ ohn an Sciver, P.E.
'-- Colorado Water Conservation Board

Attachments

cc:Mr. Tommy Thomson, Member CWCB Board
State Senator Linda Powers
State Representative Rob Shoemaker

C:\WP51\8b119.1tr
