<br />Tables:2 and 3 ~how that the summer recommendation of 1.9 cfs is available 50% of the time for
<br />the month of May. 20% of the time for April and June and I % of the time in July throughout the
<br />entire reach. Tables:2 and 3 also show that the winter recommendation of 1.5 cfs is not
<br />available. Based on the above water availability analysis and the requirement of the eWeB staff
<br />to balance the needs of mankind with a reasonable preservation of the natural en....ironment the
<br />recommended summer and winter flows of 1.9 c(<; and 1.5 cfs. v.'ere reduced further. Staff
<br />recommends that the proposed flow recommendation be changed to 1.9 cf~ (April 15 - June 30).

<br />Precipitation Data
<br />Staff reviewed local precipitation data sets from 4 different sites located around the East Form
<br />Parachute Creek Drainage (see Precipitation Data in Appendix C). These sites include Rangely.
<br />Rifle. Collbran and Meeker (See Figure 3). Table 6 shows the water year and the percent of
<br />average precipitation recorded at each site.
