The summer flow recommendation was
reduced to 3.2 cfs for the time period of July I through July 31 based on limited water
availability. Table 2 also shows that the winter flow recommendation of3.2 cfs is only available
at least 50% of the time from March I through March 31. The winter flow recommendation was
further reduced to 1.3 cfs for the period of August I to February 28 based on limited water
availability .

Table 2: Estimated Stream Flow on Escalante Creek (upper reach):
Jan Feb Mar Apr May Jun Jul
(cIs) 1.3 2.9 4.2 63.2 230.6 105.8 5.4

Aug Sep Oet
2.1 1.7 1.6

Nay Dee
1.6 1.5

Estimated Stream Flow on Escalante Creek
(upper reach)

20

15

- -.

J!! 10
u

5

-

.,

--

o

Jan Feb Mar Apr May Jun Jul Aug Sep Oet Noy Dee
Month

Table 3: Estimated Stream Flow on Escalante Creek (lower reach):
Jan Feb Mar Apr May Jun Jul
(cfs) 1.5 3.3 4.7 71.9 262.3 120.3 6.2

Aug Sep Oet
2.4 2.0 1.8

Nay Dee
1.8 1.7

-6-
