There is one decreed surface <br />diversion within this reach of stream (Pickett Corral Ditch). Based on this analysis staff has <br />determined that water is available for appropriation on East Escalante Creek, from its headwaters <br />to the confluence with Middle Escalante Creek, to preserve the natural environment to a <br />reasonable degree without limiting or foreclosing the exercise of valid existing water rights. <br /> <br />- 6 - <br /> <br />". <br />
