This segment can be located on the Eldorado
Springs and Louisville U.S.G.S. quadrangles. For purposes of the
instream flows as are required to preserve the natural environment
from october 1 to April 30, the natural stream has been divided into
two segments. Segment 1 starts at the upstream terminus identified above
and ends at the United States Geological Survey (U.S.G.S.) gauge on
South Boulder Creek near Eldorado Springs, Colorado identified as No.
06729500 located in the SE~, Section 26, Township 1 South, Range 7l
West, Boulder County, 1 mile West of Eldorado Springs. The use of water: To maintain such instream flows as are
required to preserve the natural environment to a reasonable degree
pursuant to C.R.S. 1973, 37-92-102 and l03. The amount of water claimed
in segment 2 during the winter is less than that required to preserve the
natural environment to a reasonable degree, but represents the amount
of water available for appropriation. No diversion of the water right
herein will be made from the natural stream channel.

- 2 -

..
