3. The source of the water is:

West Fork Sheep Creek, tributary to the Colorado River.

4. Legal description of the stream segment through which
an instream flow is claimed.

The natural stream channel from the headwa-
ters at latitude 39049'27"N and longitude
107007'15"W as the upstream terminus and
extending to the confluence of East Fork
Sheep Creek in the SW/4, NW/4, Sec. 19, T3S,
R86W, 6th P.M. as the downstream terminus,
being a distance of approximately 3.6 miles.
This segment can be located on the Sugar loaf
Mountain U.S.G.S. quadrangle and is depicted
on Exhibit A.

For the stream segments in an unsurveyed
area, the Division Engineer has determined
for administrative purposes that the approxi-
mate legal description of the instream flow
termini as protracted from U.S.G.S. and/or
U.S.F.S. mapping is as follows: upstream
terminus in the NW/4 SE/4 NE/4, Sec 2, T3S,
R87W, 6th P.M.

5. Use of the water:

.Instream flow to preserve the natural environment to a
reasonable degree.

6. Date of initiation of appropriation:

November 6, 1995.

7. The water was first applied to the above beneficial use
on November 6, 1995, by action of the Colorado Water Conservation
Board under the provision of C.R.S. ~~ 37-92-102(3),
37-92-103 (3), (4), (10).

8. Amount of water claimed (ABSOLUTE): Instream flow of
0.75 c.f.s. (April 1 - Oct 15); 0.40 c.f.s. (Oct 16 - March 31).
