The source of the water is: <br /> <br />West Fork Sheep Creek, tributary to the Colorado River. <br /> <br />4. Legal description of the stream segment through which <br />an instream flow is claimed. <br /> <br />The natural stream channel from the headwa- <br />ters at latitude 39049'27"N and longitude <br />107007'15"W as the upstream terminus and <br />extending to the confluence of East Fork <br />Sheep Creek in the SW/4, NW/4, Sec. 19, T3S, <br />R86W, 6th P.M. as the downstream terminus, <br />being a distance of approximately 3.6 miles. <br />This segment can be located on the Sugar loaf <br />Mountain U.S.G.S. quadrangle and is depicted <br />on Exhibit A. <br /> <br />For the stream segments in an unsurveyed <br />area, the Division Engineer has determined <br />for administrative purposes that the approxi- <br />mate legal description of the instream flow <br />termini as protracted from U.S.G.S. and/or <br />U.S.F.S. mapping is as follows: upstream <br />terminus in the NW/4 SE/4 NE/4, Sec 2, T3S, <br />R87W, 6th P.M. <br /> <br />5. Use of the water: <br /> <br />.Instream flow to preserve the natural environment to a <br />reasonable degree. <br /> <br />6. Date of initiation of appropriation: <br /> <br />November 6, 1995. <br /> <br />7. The water was first applied to the above beneficial use <br />on November 6, 1995, by action of the Colorado Water Conservation <br />Board under the provision of C.R.S. ~~ 37-92-102(3), <br />37-92-103 (3), (4), (10). <br /> <br />8.
