The legal description for the stream segment is: <br /> <br />Natural stream channel segment from its upstream terminus at <br />the headwaters located in the Southeast 1/4 of the Southeast <br />1/4 of Section 5, T4N, R78W of the 6th P.M., Jackson County, <br />Colorado; to a downstream terminus of said natural channel at <br />the headgate of the School Section Ditch located at Latitude <br />40 degrees, 23 minutes, 40 seconds North and Longitude 106 <br />degrees, 7 minutes, 48 seconds West, Jackson County, Colorado; <br />said segment being 5.2 miles more or less. <br /> <br />Administration: For the stream segments in an unsurveyed area, <br />the Division Engineer has determined for administrative <br />purposes that the approximate legal description of the minimum <br />stream flow termini as protracted from U.S.G.S. mapping is as <br />follows: downstream terminus in the Northwest 1/4 of Section <br />22, T5N, R78Wof the 6th P.M., Jackson County, Colorado. <br /> <br />4. The source of the water is: <br /> <br />East Branch Willow creek, tributary to willow Creek, tributary <br />to Illinois River, tributary to Michigan River, tributary to <br />North Platte River. <br /> <br />5. The date of appropriation is: <br /> <br />May 8, 1992. <br /> <br />6. The appropriation was initiated by: <br /> <br />Colorado Water Conservation Board action pursuant to C.R.S. <br />37-92-102(3), 37-92-103(3), (4), (10). <br /> <br />7. The water was applied to beneficial use on: <br /> <br />May 8, 1992. <br /> <br />8. The amount of water awarded is: <br /> <br />2.5 cfs, Absolute, from April 1 through September 30, each <br />year; and 1.0 cfs, Absolute, from October 1 through March 31, <br />each year. <br /> <br />9. The use of water is: <br /> <br />Minimum stream flow to preserve the environment to a <br />reasonable degree. <br />
